Maine  , cele doua minute ale faimoasei curse  Kentucky Derby se pare ca  vor fi consumate si  urmarite nocturn . Ploaia torentiala  o sa dea bataie de cap nu numai  cailor  si jockey lor ( nu toti sunt familiari cu terenul noroios) dar in special gambler ului , palariilor si mie ! American Lion  vine   din California ,antrenat mai mult pe turf de plastic dar cu sperante mari  din partea proprietarului .   Cei antrenati pe tern arid , vor avea o surprisa . Nu stiu pe care sa-l aleg  valoric . Am sa las intamplarea sa decida in locul calculelor , si  * Make music for me* sper sa nu ma dezamageasca !

Mine That Bird

 in 2 minute,02 secunde si66 de zecimi ,  a  fost platit $103.20 ,  antrenat  de ”  those cowboys ” din New Mexico….. ” they came  with good horses ” .    Sheicul Dubai ului  a fost    ” sentimental favorite ” la  Churchill Downs  ; Friesan Fire , favoritul , a iesit pe ultimul loc  !   

  Mine that bird #8 , a fost  inghesuit la start , dar jokeul   Calvin Borel , l-a indreptat ferm spre gardul traseului  , unde era pe ultimul loc .  Mai avea un sfert de mila  cand era in pozitia 12 . L-au ocolit intr-un unghi rapid pe Atomic Rain  , s-a pozitionat  iar langa  mantinela  printr-un spatiu  ingust ( nu credeam ca-l trece )  si a  tasnit  ca un glont . ” I had enough room ”   Calvin Borel si-a zis . ” He’s a small horse ” Odata eliberat , calul a accelerat incredibil sper  victorie  .  “Amazing  . It  just  shows you how special the  race is . ”

            The first rule about Kentucky Derby ( or any horse race ) is that the   ” favorite  ” does not always win  . Just because a particular horse is supposed to win , doesn’t make it  happen .

The race currently covers one and one-quarter miles (2.012 km) at Churchill Downs; colts and geldings carry 126 pounds (57 kg), fillies 121 pounds (55 kg). The race, known as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” for its approximate time length, is the first leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing in the United States. The Derby is frequently referred to as “The Run for the Roses,” because a garland of red roses is awarded to the Kentucky Derby winner each year. The tradition is as a result of New York socialite E. Berry Wall presenting roses to ladies at a post-Derby party in 1883 that was attended by Churchill Downs president, Col. M. Lewis Clark. This gesture is believed to have eventually led Clark to the idea of making the rose the race’s official flower. However, it was not until 1896 that any recorded account referred to roses being draped on the Derby winner. The governor of Kentucky awards the garland and the trophy.

  Sunday I’ll be there .  135th  Kentucky derby !  The first rule about the Kentucky Derby (or any horse race) is that the “favorite” does not always win!  Just because a particular horse is supposed to win, doesn’t make it happen

The perfect day

  

  Am zis ca-i nor , dar nu e decat un  caier de puf care ma-npinge mereu cu  elan , pana la pragul de unde vidul apare priveliste  si azur ! 

 Am zis ca-i fum  in care suflind  o sa-l transform intr-un destin nou sau sa-l rastorn . Dar uite : timpul insasi se poticneste, si- cazut intr-o rana , mi-arunca racoare albastra in suflet .

 

  

              La mijloc sunt , oriunde m-as afla ; la mijlocul acestui drum padure .
