Romania’s National Day

… December the 1 th– Romania  Natioinal Day- this day memorializes the unification of Transylvania into  *Greater Romania* in 1918 formalized by international treaty in 1920-as well as Basarabia and Bukovina  (article Dec 11, 1918) see

In the immediate woak of break-up of the Austrio-Hungarian Empire after WWI , on Decebmer 1 th 1918- citizens of Transylvania  , Banat county,Crisana county and Maramures County  met in the city of Alba  Alba-Iulia   and voted to join Romania ( original ) This was ratified in the   Romanian Chamber of Deputies and Senat on Dec. 29 th. This act was internationally formalized by the signing of the  Treaty of Trianon on june 4th, 1920 between Romania and Hungaria . This brought the three provinces of Wallachia, Moldova and Transylvania into United Kingdom of Romania .

Happy Thanksgiving

… for all my americans friends…HAPPY THANKSGIVING !

… I watch Muppets make a come back to the big screen. Most importantly, I’ll be giving thanks (because that’s what we do before expecting gifts from Good Old Saint Nick) for all the beautiful things this life has given me; for  my children who make me proud, all the amazing people I’ve met and the gracious opportunities and experiences I’ve had the luxury of making this year.

Thanksgiving is slowly becoming a more cherished holiday of mine over Christmas for the simple fact that it’s a time for being grateful and for sharing that with the people you love. Plus, it’s kinda fun to root for an underdog. I’d love to see the  Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade , but hey, that’s just me. Happy Thanksgiving!

sea of love

…  Ca sa rontai surazand castanele prezentului , imi cuibaresc  faptura in vechiul fotoliu , ce-mi recunoaste forma , iar peste ochii verzi, adun o seara ce o risipesc in cojile cazute cate una .

As putea veni ca aerul, sa-ti scot din minte indoiala si sa alung durerea intrebarii , a mersului ca umbra nestiuta de mal, si ai ramane tanar vesnic , la hotarul dintre ziua si negura , necunoscut de lucruri , necunoscut de mine…

Dar unde sa-mi feresc de-spaime  gandul, visul , parul razvratit si palida toamna a surasului ?  Oriunde le-as ascunde , Timpul vine tiptil , cu arcul , si ghemuit pe  vine pandeste ca un trist braconier .

…intuneric dimineata , intuneric la intoarcere…  saracele, ce-a ramas din ele . Sa-mi treaca spaima , azi o sa curat gradina  sa alung gandul plans de  intuneric

..exista ape sacre ce-si aduna numai in mine fluxul mohorat -vapai ce pentru altii ard in luna, splendori impodobite cu urat…

… iar seara,  ca sa le apar vraja , le inchid in labirindul spaimelor din mine in care sufletul , ca un lichid , ia forma trupului care-l contine – cuibarit in fotoliul vechi- ascult cantatul mocnit al focului ce-mi incalzeste gandul si-mi aduce vara cu ce a fost si va mai fi…
