The vibe at  Warner Theatre  was the three bald, blue men, clad all in black, are at the core percussion musician. I was amazed at the versatility of the blue men, playing everything from Beethoven’s *Fur Elise*

The performers seem at times like visitors from another planet, looking confused at boxes of Cap’n Crunch cereal and Twinkies — carefully cutting the Twinkies with knife and fork and even plastering bits of cereal to their blue faces.

I loved a  scene in which the blue men fiddled with giant iPad-like screens, scrolling through data that was at times silly and at times serious, pointing out disturbing stats like the startlingly few minutes parents spend actually talking to their kids each and poking fun at technology Twitter-length summaries of great works of literature. So while the show utilized all these various modes of communication, it’s clear that the members of Blue Man Group are both savvy enough and clever enough to take a tongue-in-cheek poke at it, too.

Regardless, I was clearly thrilled !
